Nokia 6126 clamshell phone

Nokia has announced their quad-band EDGE clamshell phone 6126.
The phone is very sleek with only 17 mm thickness and weighs 112 g. Two displays are present in the phone. The main display is a 2.2" 16.7 million True Color QVGA display. The external display is 256K colors with 128 x 160 pixels resolution. Nokia 6126 supports various music formats, has a microSD card slot and thus can be considered as a music phone to face the tough competition from the Sony Ericsson Walkman Phones. On the features list is EDGE connectivity, Bluetooth, MicroSD card slot and the MP3 player. The Active standby mode of this phone displays the calendar and to-do list of items. The Series 40 phone supports Audio / Video streaming and delivers decent 3D gaming performance.

The Phone will be available in the US int he second quarter of 2006.
